Strangers

Do you think of those strangers
Who let you under their umbrella
when it started pouring
While you were walking to the office.

Do you think of those
Who lent hat one penny, dime or rupee
When you were desperate
And it mattered the most.

Do you think of those
Who gave you their seat in the metro
Because they thought you were tired
Or you mother was old.

Doyou think of those strangers
who gave you a lift
When you were walking back home
Dejected at having missed the bus.

Do you think of those strangers
Who helped you get on the train by lending a hand
When you were running after it
And almost gave up on the chase

Do you think of those strangers
Who smiled at you Or gave you an invaluable advice
without notice and lit up your day
When you wanted it but weren’t expecting it.

Do you think of those strangers
Who’ve served you food in your office
For years and never got a thanks
In return for their service

Do you think of those strangers
And feel that you missed thanking them?
Well the time is gone
But more will come

Say that 2 word phrase
Which makes a bad day good
A sad man happy, a happy man happier
And most of all you, a better human

This Comes late but i found this video and i guess this is a bigger view of what i  want to put through in this poem.
